Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad de Santiago, Executive MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Throughout a large portion of his career, between 1986 and 2014, he worked at Banco Concepción, which would later become Corpbanca, where he was the head of multiple departments He was Director of the Insurance Brokerage and Stock Brokerage affiliates of the same company. 

He worked for four years (between 2015 and 2018) as Vice President of Investments at CGIS Securities LLC. 

He has also been director of companies such as Global Servicios Financieros SA and Grupo Patio SpA.
